The difference in prospective

When I was in class 10th our group decided that we will join the same school for our 11th class, because our school was only till 10th. But when result came out of our 10th class we hardly knew who would be going to which school. I am talking about a time where there was no facebook and phone. So communication part was more different then what it is today. I choose to go Air force School Bamrauli for my further schooling in commerce. I could not take science because my chemistry and biology was terrible. But it was right decision for me.

When I joined my new school, it felt lonely for first few days. Everyone in my class knew each other apart from few new students. I could not see myself getting along with them anymore. I used to my time in my earlier school; I have spend my 10 year in that school with my old friends. It was hard for me to forget all things in one go and start from fresh. I was not prepared for that time; I was not mature enough to think about that. I wanted to get in the same school as my friends where, but I could not. Some school I could not get register and rest didn’t give me admission. That was really a low time of my life; I don’t know what to do. I see others happy and yet I was not, I always after 10th life will be easier but there I was feeling worse than any other time.

I thought about doing lots of things at that time, I never told anyone or talked to anyone about that period of my life. Because that was the low time which I don’t want to look back. I always want to remember only good things about life. New school, new people and you feel terrible. So what changed in me in next few days that changed my life?

When you really need a inspiration about something, you find it everywhere, but I was looking for was someone to tell me how to get out of my past to look forward to the future. It came from a book, I don’t remember the book name, but there was one letter of I think Benjamin Franklin to his son who he just send in the hostel for schooling. He wrote him about how he should treat other and his life to get best out of it. And it was simple but yet so powerful letter, it moved me fully. It changed me how I see things since then, till then I was not very much open to new things but after that it was totally new things.

He written in letter how it is important to embrace the present with open arms in order to make you future better, make new friends, talk with everyone, try to reach everyone out there and learn from them. It helped me a lot, ever I feel confused or need some motivation just I read that letter again. You need words of other sometime to show you the path that you know is write but still you prefer someone else world to be more sure about it.

After that my school life become much easier, I made lots of friends in the school time. Today when I look back I have better memory of my second school then first because I have let go lots of thing to embrace the new things. I am glad I did it, may god give me more such memorable journey to live in this life.

Friendship day

When I was in school, there was no one who used to celebrate this day, until we saw kuch kuch hota hai. That was the first time I was introduced to the Friendship day and friendship band. All the boys used to dream about giving friendship band to the girls, because giving band to boys was such a waste. Some of us succeeded in making few friends especially, rest of kept thinking about how to approach the girls. A boy and girls can never be only friends that was we used to thing at that time, We all feared what if girl refuse and more dangerous what if she make us his brother. That was too much risk at that time.

Those were days when there was no facebook, no orkut, no twitter, no mobile phone and even having landline phone was rare. If you receive a call from girl then it become a big news in your home, your cousins and sister will remind you that thing till the time then find someone new to target. Talking to girl used to be a taboo in school until and unless you are famous with your looks. I remember how in our group of boys we used to tease the boy who talks to girl, and more he used to think as traitor in our group. We were all small town boys, who were very much influenced by the movie. We all were Srk type lover, we wanted to woo the girl with all the good things but in reality we knew it is not possible.

Today when I look back to those days, it really becomes so nostalgic to think about those days. My school time was more memorable because I am still in touch with most people of my school whom I consider as my friends, but when I look back I have some regrets as well. But we all move on in our life, we make new friends. One thing I learned in school which was really important to me was making new friends is very important, you need to meet people and talk to them in order to know them.

On this friendship day I want to remember all my school friends who made me feel so special, who knew me when I was nothing and they believe me at that time also. I want to meet all of them all the time, but I know it is not possible but we all can hope. I still think your school friends are the one who know about you most but don’t talk about you. They can judge you best because they know you when you have learned to lie about yourself, you don’t fake yourself, and you don’t make things to become friends. Some time you think how well your school days where.

Anyways, this friendship day I am not doing anything special apart from doing what I do best, hoping some of old friends call me to talk with me.

My first School

Whenever I am at home, often I take update of my old school i.e. Air Force School Manauri from my sister, my niece is right now in the UKG in the same school, so she often turn into source of information for me about my old school. It turns me in the nostalgic mood about my school days, the time I have spent there and the fading memory I have about my school life.

I am not blessed with superhuman memory which my some friend has, they remember lot about school life, seniors and juniors but I hardly remember anything about school life apart from few very good times I have spend with friend. I don’t remember the first day of my school, but what I do remember is Air force school Manauri was not the first school I went into. Before that there was one school, in which I went to for KG, but I don’t remember the school name, I hardly remember anything about that school, apart from few punishments that I received in school. I remember the garden of that school which was maintained by student itself, and also the ground in which we used to eat lunch. I don’t remember any student from my class of KG, any teacher name, any special incident at that time which happened to me.

I only went in that school for one year, before I shifted to Air force School Manauri, but I hardly remember anything about that time also. If I force my memory the only thing I remember is that in punishment I used to stand outside of class on the knees from half day. Apart from that nothing else, few year back I went to see that building so that I can see if I remember anything about that. Now that school is close by the couple which used to run that school, they have made that place as there farm house, only thing that remain there unchanged is garden and in garden sunflower.

Yes, that was the specialty of the garden, the sun flower. I have never seen more beautiful sun flower than that, might be because that was the first image of sunflower I have in my mind, and mind you I have given water to that flower as well. So for me that flower is special, most beautiful flower among all. But apart from that no other special memory I have about that school. Well life is like that you could not remember all the things, but you should always remember the good memories of your life.

P.S.: I love to hear stories of mahi from his school life, she is so much like me, If anything I miss while living in Delhi, it is spending time with her…

Happy Teachers day

Who plays most important part in your life to make you successful? Family, friends, luck or someone special, There are the most common answer you will find from anybody in his success story. But we all miss the most important person in this process i.e. “Teachers”. From school to college, from class to sports field they teach you so many things but they are last person whom we give the credit to our success.

I am also part of one of them who till now has given little credit to his teachers. But today when I look back to my life, I find my first teacher in school Mrs. Bhalerao Ma’am was the most important teacher in my life. She was one of the best teachers who made me a good person, ignored my all the mistakes and most best part he used to say to my sister was, “Please isko Nani ke pass se bula lo, Unki laad pyar me bigad jayege”. At that time I was a young kid who could not understand those things but now I often think about it and have a laugh at it. J

May be after we end our college life we don’t realize the importance of teachers but without them we could not have reached at the high of our life. They inspire, help and also motivate us to all the good things in life but yet they remain patient to hear our thought which is not so good some time. I don’t know about others but for me they are the most important person in life apart from parent and friends who shape your life.

I don’t remember the name of teachers who taught me, but I do remember what they taught me. From science to English and from hindi to SST. I remember all of them.

P.S. : With teachers day today it is also my mother birthday, so it is double special day for me. J
