Deepak "Rousa" IEC-MBA farewell poetry.....

Well I am at loss of word after again seeing this live performance of Mr. Deepak “Rousa”. Few months back he said to me, “saifi bhai please put my video in the blog”. But due to some reason or other I was not able to do it. Today I had nothing to do, just randomly pick up this and completed all the work. If you listen this video, it will start with long shout of “Bhagat singh huh tumhare sath hai”.
Well he has some good poems always reserved for us. Listen this end enjoy your day…J

“Mahul tere jaane se gamgeen ho gaya hai,
Ankho se nikla pani namkeen ho gaya hai”……

P.S.: This video is for all my dear friend Deepak and his these poems are for all the IEC MBA students....:)..

The EQUATION of my college days And Its PARAMETERS....PART 3 (From Zero to Hero)

There was one incident in my college life which change my whole college life. That incident was first semester result in which I topped. From a zero in Allahabad university to batch semester topper in IEC and the awesome part was that I was first guy after few years to do so and then only song i can think of was this.....

Frankly I was the last student expected to top the class. To be fair I was also never expecting that result from myself. I screwed 2 or 3 papers in examination badly and still end up getting highest marks. Some say that is luck and I say luck with right chance.

In my friends group I was with least attendance, my assignments were always late and apart from economics no other subject was my favorite. I hated organization behavior and stats, both papers I screwed badly. My aim was always to pass with decent marks not a single time this thought came in my mind that will score highest marks in class. In my whole life I have always thought that scoring highest marks is not good for health. Maybe I never wanted to reach on top and I was happy in my own space.

After result it was whole new experience for me. Just everybody start thinking you are intelligent, which I am not. Friends and people who know you start thinking, how the hell he can top when he was least studying and one of the laziest persons in the world. I think they were right at that time. That made them think had he has been studying while we were sleeping. In reality I was the one sleeping most and studying less. People feel jealous of you, your comments are taken more personal especially regarding study and yet you fell " I don't care about you" Attitude.

The most irritating part was when everybody started calling me SAIFI SIR. I used to think, hold on man, I am just 21 year old and SAIFI SIR Sound makes me feel like 31 year old. But to be franks I enjoyed every bit of FAME in that period. Now everybody knows me for right reason and in my whole life it has been rare.

My stint at top was short one but one of the memorable one. I didn’t deserve to be there just because I never that hard to be there. Others have work hard and believe me very hard. They all studied late night, attended full class. Where was I all that time, sleeping and relaxing?

But this incident taught me one thing. Never ever in life underestimate yourself in whatever you do. Some time underdogs also perform well and just believe in you. Yet I exceeded my all expectations.

Lastly I would like to thank all the friends because of whom I achieved that thing. Nisheeth bhai ( a bade bhai, roommate and one who know all about how I topped),  jayant ( he was one the deserving candidate of topping the semester and I toppes just because of his questions), raj( he has similar story to me just he topped from down), kshama( she always say why you write and yet she is first one read and say nice one with her cutest simle), smita( only friend whom I have irritated most in first semester) and most important my family.

Take A Look At Yourself And Your Success..

‘Knowledge helps you to reach your destination, provided you know what the Destination is’

When putting a plan together to work on line, deciding what motivates you and creating a compelling vision that moves you towards it, it can be a useful exercise to dedicate some time defining what success will look like for you. If you haven’t looked at a plan for yourself you might find my article ” A strong beginning builds the foundation for a great ending” useful. For a few years now success for me has always been about following my heart, making a difference and living with passion. As long as I am doing one or all three of these things I am successful. What will success look like for you?
If you have been fortunate enough to discover what you are passionate about, your purpose in life, then you are truly blessed. Look at how you can use this to generate passive income. Getting paid doing something we love really puts the fun in work! Brainstorm ideas! Just write them all down. Start by saying ‘I am successful when’ then make a list and see what shows up. Give yourself some time to create this list and then move on to the next stage of this process that will help you define success.
Once you have completed that exercise take a look at your list and rate them on a scale of 1-10 (with 1 being not important and 10 being extremely important) rate your list and then select the top 7-10 (you can select as many as you like but I am using 7 as my example in this article)

Here’s an example for you :
I am successful when I am making people laugh (4 out of 10)
I am successful when I am making $10,000 a week (2 out of 10)
I am successful when I am doing something that inspires me (8 out of 10)
If you are unsure about which is the more important one, answer this question : If I can have x but I can not have y does that matter? So as an example, if I can have peace but I can not have money does that matter? Remember, this is a way of defining your success, so if doing something that inspires is more important then rate it higher than money; if not rate money higher. Go through each one until you have them in a 1-7 order.

Now create one or two sentences of what success means for you using your 7 key words in whatever order you like. So as an example if my key success words were:
1. peace
2. money
3. freedom
4. inspiration
5. making a difference
6. leaving a legacy
7. time for me

Defining success in this way is so very important because it is this definition of success that will keep you motivated when you want to give up. Once you have your definition of success the other thing you need is your business vehicle, the online business that will help you to achieve your vision. I discuss that in another article called ‘Driving the right vehicle to success’ and it is worth reading if you are still trying to figure out what business you want to use to run your internet based business.
So take action and create your definition of success because once you know what it is as long as your online business provides you with the opportunity to achieve it then you are successful. Even if you do not end up earning a six figure sum or becoming a ‘guru’ you are still successful in your own eyes. And they are the only eyes that really matter!

Thus
1. To become a good professional, the student should be very clear in his/her ambition and set appropriate goals for themselves.
2. The priorities for the day should be clear in the mind.
3. Proper time management is very essential (with proper time management a student can easily have 3 hours of relaxation per day and read for 5 hours per day).
4. Mind and body should be kept active. Priorities and ambition may be forgotten if relaxation (though important) is overdone.
