Friendship day: A day of friends....

Well every year first Sunday there is friendship day is celebrated. I was curious how the friendship day was started and by whom it was started. But there are very few piece of information available regarding its origin. Some say it is again a marketing thing to sell more in the festive period as in west there are lack of festivals. But we Indian never lack occasion to celebrate. Well here is the piece of note on friendship day Origin.

Friendship Day celebrations are held on different dates in different countries of the world. The first World Friendship Day was proposed on 30 July 1958 in Paraguay. On 27 April, 2011, the General Assembly of the United Nations declared 30 July as official International Friendship Day. However, in India, Friendship Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of August.

Friendship Day was originally proposed by Joyce Hall, the founder of Hallmark cards in 1919, intended to be the first Sunday of August and a day when people celebrated their friendships by sending cards. The first Sunday in August was chosen as the center of the largest lull between holiday celebrations but it faced consumer resistance, given that it was rather too obviously a commercial gimmick to promote greetings cards.

The girl who once loved me... Part 1.....

“Tere dar par sanam chale aaye, tuu na aaya sanam hum chale aaye….”

I am only listing this songs these days.

I knew she is far away from me, but still why I can’t try to meet her? I have been asking this question from myself since the day she has left. But still I can’t gather the courage to go and meet her. She never gave me his new no. and I knew few of her friends but they also not helped me. Only way to keep tracking about her was facebook. Funny how she used to hate facebook and don’t use to update his facebook profile. But now this is the only place where I can find her. Her new update, new photo and other source, I kept seeing all those picture daily, reading his update daily but still have not gathered the courage to update my comment on it.

It has been almost one Month since I have seen her, heard her voice and yet nothing has changed in my life. The emptiness she let in me can’t be filled by any other one. She always knew that, then also she never bothered to call me once or at least send me SMS. Why things has changed so much in last one month even I could not answer to myself. We always knew things will end but never knew it will end this way. The day she left the college I kept planning how we can be in touch thought facebook, twitter or skype but nothing of that sort of thing happened. How can you keep in touch with a person who does not want to be in touch with you?

Time kept flowing away as fast it could; I got busy with my placement plan and as far she was concerned I still knew nothing about what she is up to except he random facebook update. I was always thinking about her and could not plan anything except her. My friends tried to get me out of her syndrome but I did not helped, I found myself feeling odd in her party. This entire thing again reminded how good she used to make me feel, she was only one whom I was more comfortable being myself. Slowly everyone stopped calling me in the party and again I was left with me and her memories. Whenever I felt like missing her, I visited the places we used to be together. From library, canteen to every other random place where she used to take me, now I could easily relate with everything. I used to hate visiting all these places with her because of his habit of not purchasing anything but still keep looking after things for hours. But now I easily go to shop to pick up thing she used to like from books to songs. But does this all affect her any way or anyhow.

“Zindagi pukarti rahi, hum peche bhagte rahe,
Bus tera sath na mila aur hum kudh ko manate rahe”….

Is that how the college love stories end. I could not find the answer of my pain. It is because I am too much in love with her or it is because she does not remember me anymore. This thought shaken me up and start saying to myself, she love me but don’t get time to call me. My only wish was to meet her once to know what she is thinking about US. I hope I met her once more to tell without him I am so alone in this big world.

To be continu……..

Raj ko Raaz rahne do....Part 1....

I did not wanted to write this article but I did not have much option because I am running out of ideas my dear friend RAJ. it is from our GANG side.

I want to put a curious case of RAJ. As far as who know him more than me if u disagree please just mention it in the end of the note.

I think the RAJ I met first time in college is totally opposite of what he is today. I still remember he used to always come late in class usually 20 min. late in first class or in second class. He used to sit with his best buddy in the first bench of right hand side. He used to dress up in formals and the best part was his specks. He used to wear specks and he used to look studious. Only Raj dares to ask the economics question in Shefali mam class. As Raj used to ask the question from Shefali mam, the whole class used to think “lo ab to kewal RAJ h economics samajh payega”.

This is period when we know him as a classmate with longest name i.e. RAJ RAJESHWAR MANI TRIPATHI. Oh sorry this is not his full name add MAALIK in starting. MAALIK was removed from his name just because there were not enough blocks in the 10 class registration form.

Then JAB WE MET, It created an everlasting LEGENG in the IEC HISTORY. I, Raj, Jayant, Nisheeth became best buddies in a span of few days. There was something which clicked between all of us and created the everlasting memories of our life. The thing changed when he became friend with us was surprising. He got his most popular name “JAADOO” given by someone whom I donot want to mention in my blog. He stopped asking question from Shefali mam. He stopped using specks, he changed his parking from first seat to back bench which was controlled by us. He was different Raj now, Raj which we all love till now and will love till he leaves this world.

The funniest thing he did was in the first and most challenging presentation of our MBA life. He was the sutradhar of our presentation. He has to say opening line but in front of audience and Director he forgot everything. He called jayant as saifi and the worst part I was forgotten and my name was given to someone else but still I admire the courage to get ready for presentation in 5 Min. when all the so called Biggies of our class backed out. To stand there on stage was his achievement and he will acknowledge it.

He has such a depth in his voice that will make you to listen what he is saying and sayari in his voice will make you go gaa gaa. I think we have shared lots of his sayaris in his soulfull voice.

Few words which he made common or say Raj special are. For example let’s say “JUST FRIEND”, almost all of us will agree that this is Raj original. If you are curious what is just friend. I have answer but I do not want to tell you. It is a friendship stage where you never complain and never explain. I am confused is this FRENDSHIP or what.

ITC, I mention this because he will give his entire business example from this organization. Sometimes I wonder if he knows about ITC more than even its managers.

Before I wind up this part I want to say something to Raj. You are one of the best humans or friend any one could have. The people who have you as a friend are lucky blokes. You may not be perfect and nobody is in this world everybody has his own weakness. But to be like you is not every one capability. You never have to be asked for help just because you are always there to help out your friend. But still people do not understand Raj, the do not know what it is like to RAJ. I do and I do not want to be like you.

This is first part of RAJ AISA KYU HAI. It’s not easy to define all about Raj in just one part. So till the next time wait and enjoy.

for RAJ ...
Izaatie, nafratie, Sohratie aur inayatie
sab kuch ek sa nahi rahta
aj main ho jaha kal koi aur tha
ye b ek duar hai aur woh b ek daur tha.

Main aisa kyu ho

What I really want to be in my life? Well this is the question which I have been asking from myself since I was in class 3 but there have been no answer. I get only more confusion and with more question. Let me tell you about this confusing story.

When I was kid in the class 3rd, I was so impressed with my one teacher that I only wanted to be teacher. For me at that age it was the best profession, you don’t have to take care of anything except teaching and you have the power of pass and fail any student in the subject. For me that was one of the most powerful jobs. I liked my teacher more than the job I realized later. But after few years I realized I could not teach those shouting kids in school and I have to look for new profession for myself…

At that time there was one anuty in my mom office, her son was selected for the MBBS. My mom always wants us to be something like doctor. At that time in 6th class I pushed for the science, I tried to learn how to draw diagram of difficult insect and also the most difficult thing in biology spelling and scientific name of all the tree, animal and human being. Slowly I realized that this science is not the subject for me. Well the best incident I had at that time was when my science teacher enters in the exam room and gives us brief on the errors in the paper of chemistry. I could not understand what the original mistake in the chemical equation was. Well before even passing my 10th exam I announced in my home, “I am done with science, I will going to go for commerce”.

Well that decision do changed my life quite a bit. Now I can’t be engineer, doctor and even scientist (Well that last one was not even in my consideration).

In between one day between my 10th exam and 11th admission I went with my mom in one of cousin weddings. There one of my uncle met to him and he was more interested in my career that any other thing.

“So saifi what you have decide to do in life”, my uncle asked me.

“Well uncle, I have decided to join commerce and let see after that I have not deiced anything”. I replied to him. But his next question was more difficult for me to explain. He asked, “So, you will engineer or doctor. You know Mr. Khan sahib daughter is now joining MBBS. I hope you make us proud us also”.

Well I don’t know how to answer that question, more so I don’t want to explain him that what diff. between commerce and science was. So I replied, “Let’s see uncle”. After reaching home I decide to never go to mom parties.

I was sure about my next step of joining commerce in 11th, but somehow there is also some twist like it has been in my whole life. That I will explain in next part.

The child Inside us..( Saifi and Jayant)...

Well this video is proof that some time we all have child inside us (Especially this is for me and Jayant) as we are the most innocent and cute boys you would ever see.

This is a video of last year when we were in last days of our college days. One day we decided to skip usually routine and go to Dhaba near the reliance fresh in Greater Noida. After dinner in that night we returned around 10 or 11 PM to our flat. There was park just behind our flat but we were not able to enjoy free time in Jhoola because of some kids who think we are too old for these things. After you get saved yourself from kids then there will aunty who will shout at you for the simple thing like, “See yourself, you will broke this thing”.

They all tried to give us the feeling that we are too old for all these things. At the night time the whole park was empty. You could only see the stars in the sky, and that day child inside me and jayant got chance to play.

This video was shot by Vikas and raj without telling us that they are preparing video, but today when I see this video it remind me lots of good thing that I did at that time of year. It was one of the times that I had or might have in my life. I don’t know why I like this video this is one of the best time we had with the child we are losing in our self.

P.S.: Some time we all need to go back to see what we where when no body knew us....

The Economics of Commerce Students

….
As a commerce student I used to always hate being compared to Science student. I never understand why we all compared to a science student to judge as intelligence. Either in marks or anything but anyway that the way education system of India has been science student oriented.

As a commerce student you quite early realize that you are not made for those chemistry equations and illogical spelling in Biology (I was terrible on both of them). You don’t want to go to arts, so by luck or by chance you arrive in commerce. Here world is quite different everything is not fixed as in science but not imaginary as in arts. It is a mix of both to teach you about the perfect blend of both. After commerce you have mostly left with little option for the carrier like CA (way to much study needed) and MBA (You are Idiot if you think you can join IIM after commerce graduation). But mostly you will find most commerce not opting for CA they go for MBA or either they do their own business.

Now the battle starts with science student in graduation. All those wana be engineers and doctors fail in their field so they do what, join any good commerce course to save their career. I am not against it but there should be some protection for the commerce student as there is for science student.  They come and take one seat in a good college from commerce student away, and the student who has worked hard for 2 years to reach this place will  not be notice because in exam all the question where from math’s and quant’s. So it makes them to go for a secondary college.  And all wana be engg. And Doc takes their places. What a bright future this country has.

It never ends here, after B.com and BBA most of commerce student opt for either CA or MBA. Well for MBA you need to prepare for English, Quants and much more things. But who ask question of economics, finance or say business management. They we all realize it was all wrong studies we have done till now. In commerce we were all taught you can do anything but we realize we can’t beat engg. Students in quants because they are doing it for 4 years but can they beat us in economics or finance, my answer will be NO. At least give us the fair playing ground to compete with. Include these also part of it then see how things can be change for Commerce student.

Everybody see the rat race to get in the college but how we are getting in there and how unfair the system with some of the people. I don’t know but some time I think for commerce student it is unfair. Well at the end of day that is the way system is some time, unfair but most of time an old system in place.

P.S.: As a commerce student I always envy science student for only thing, they have a choice after 12 also to come in commerce but we don’t have choice to change.

The Beautifull Mind... Depaak "Rousa"....part 2....

http://www.iecmba.blogspot.in/2012/05/few-beautifull-mindsdeepka-rousa.html (Link of Part 1)

As I was not getting time to complete my interview with Deepak “Rousa”. Now I am presenting second part of the series…

I was enjoying my time with Deepak “Rousa”. It was one of the most beautiful evenings in the store.  Usually happen when two beautiful minds meets.

Question: And then you came in MBA, how diff it was from you BA College and how you adjusted?
Answer: This is an interesting question, when I was in BA; it was like I was more like to remain in my inner self. I had only 2 friends in my class. I used to have morning class in the first year of my college and then within 2 to 3 hour after class. In my college apart from my class I used to love to go Librerary. You know it is unique place between you and books with all the words.
But in MBA it was all together different. I used to be friend with most of class mates. I tried to brake those little shekels to come out of my secure zone. It was very tuff work for me in BA as no one can guess about me and my religion due to my Moustache but in MBA due to that only you all people gave me title of “Bhagat Singh”.

Question: In college you where one of those student who use to keep quite in class. Why those serious looks?
Ans: Well my answer might remind of raju of 3 Idiot. The expectation of my family and my teachers on me made me so. I want to meet all those expectation of my teachers and family. Doing MBA was my own decision and it was really expensive for a family of farmer trusts me. I really never wanted to break trust of those all who have trusted me.

Question: You are a Gujjar, but how it feels when they are stereotyped as a bad people. Whereas there are some good people who not mentioned as often. Why is that so and how you feel about it.
Ans: In every place there is all type of people lives but some time I think perception matters a lot. In my cast a lot of good people are like Dhayama panna, Sardar patel, Rajesh pilot and many IAS, IPS, IFS, farmers, Solders and lots of good social people. Last year Pooja awana a Gujjar girl passes IAS, IIT’ans. Nandita Gujjar of Infoysis is also the gujjar, this cast doing well and I am proud to be a gujjar and we always try to be making it a beautiful caste.
As I could capture the mood of Deepak, I knew he wanted to talk more about his college life.

Question: tell me something about you college life in IEC. How it changed it you and your friends.
Ans: Well some time I wonder how to answer this. But Life in IEC was beautiful and it was a place where I was at peace and relax. There are lots of memories like teachers, assignments, projects, nisheeth bhai, cool ha ha ha boy jayant, Sumit, HG, Raj, Vikas, Amit, Lazy Anil, Vicky, Ajay, Kapoor Sahab, Bagpat k sundeep and Ankur, apne chaudhary sahib and our own Michal Jackson.
Mayank, Body builder goswami, RP, Prashant, Ram Navar or bahut sari baato ke bich me saurabh gupta, saifi means you and lakvadorch or bhai mere pyare dosto ne do saal ko ek zindagi bana diya.
And even some time maharaja Somendra so serious stories make me funny.
It is not easy to forget those days with you all because “Zindagi pyar ki do char ghadi hoti hai, Chaye choti bhi ho ye umar badi hoti he”

Question: How did teachers helped in your life
Ans:"I dedicate this life on the foot of my teachers", Now that was short but best answer by Deepak.
We paused for few minute for coffey. I read some were a lot of good things happen over a coffey. This was pleasing to see one of close friend to open his heart out to us. And let us all know about him.

Question: You are a poet also, how you started that. Who influenced you most as a poet?
Ans: I stated writing poem from class 6 or 7. It was learning for me to play with words because I was never able to express myself to others. So it was all about the poems to me. My father influenced my most. He motivates me and let me tell you he is the only person who has listened all of my poems till date. After a pause Deepak said again.
I know what you want to know next why poem in hindi. “saifi Bhai for me jis bhasha me sochta hu wo hindi he...hindi mere dil k bhasha he or dil me har ak cheez bhut khash hoti hai”, the beautiful mind said to me.

Question: Any advice you want to give to your juniors about poerty.
Ans: Hmmm, Not only for poetry but for all the matters, "heart is the only real book with us from birth to last & we ignore its education, read it & then do or see from the real open eye”

Question:  finaaly any poem on your life, there had to be one And one person who inspires you every time you look at him.
Ans: All poems r my feeling and my pain of heart inspires me when I write...one of my poems is
very close of my heart few lines....

"Me nikal chla jis bhi path per,
mujhe kato ka bhandar mila..

path me dhur mili ghari,

har do pal me andhkar mila..."

P.S.: After speaking to me at this length I knew about him more than I am writing. Till next time, next person ready to open his hearth with me. it is bye from saifi.

Life after college...One year after college

Let see life one year back. One year back there was farewell party in our college for our MBA batch. That was the last time we all friend met and enjoyed the day. What a beautiful day those where in the college. I often feel how our life has changed in the last one year, and when I noticed it the changed. It was very huge.

There is one or two group of friends in the college who met often and stay in touch but apart from that all of them have lost touch. Some of them often get in touch on facebook but that is also very less. Our facebook MBA group and page is also there but not that successful for staying in touch.

Now when I look back to those two years in the college, it often turns me nostalgic. There are few incidents which will always remain close to my heart. Either it is special strikes and the unity of the class for that. We used to present on the gate of the college on the time at right time for the strike. There used to lecture of finance in which I never used to get what digit used to say, The rata fication of subjects before exams, overload of assignments and in ever semester three times class exam and I used to never leave any exam even though only two exam was compulsory.

I enjoyed many things in those times. I learned a lot some new things and some old things. There are were some new concepts to me like love, care, friendship and respect to others. There were time of extra classes, bunking classes, road parties and friendship of my friends. All of this was wonderful experience, but today it is only a part of memory and after few years this will also fade away like a distant dream. For neither me it is nor good to left alone my friends who have careful hearts for me. I feel good when I find my friends with me and what about you?

If you are still in touch with your old friends then you are lucky one. Best of luck to everyone for there personal and professional life achievements they can get. I can’t forget you all because you all one of the special page of my book called “life”.

At last my few lines to u all:

Risto bhra ye pyara,
ahsas todna nhi...

tdpati rhe jo umrbhr,
dil pr ashi bat chorna nhi..

sab sath chor dete he mera,
tu sath chor na nhi...

andhero me bhatk kar reh zanuga,
tujse khi me kho jaunga...

hath me bdatha hu,
Tu hath chor na nhi...

sab sath chor dete he mera,
tu sath chor na nhi...

With lots of love...."Deepak Rousa"

P.S.: This is my 100th post in blog. And I am glad that it is blog from deepak and that to about college life. That was the original purpose of this blog to share about our college. thanks for reading our blog posts and sharing your comments for making it more wonderful.

College life... the few question let unanswered..

As I look back to my college days, I definitely have some question which cannot be answered by many. I don’t want those question to be answered either just because some are question are best if they are unanswered.

But some time in life there are few incidents that will always haunt you. I think there have been ample of those incidents in my college life. Either it had been first crush or last bus rush, either it had been friends break up or in the end your own exam screw up. These incidents never ever leave you in life. It just makes you just more think about those incidents in life. My life has been always full of these types of incident. The biggest of them had been how people have changed in life, some time they are your friend and next movement they are your enemy. But as the thing stand in the end of the college there are no bad feelings towards about anybody (but except few whom we will never forget).

I think as the life stand today it has been good to me, either in college or in any other place. But why it has to screw us when we really need the good luck. And then you think it is all about luck only.

In the first semester all the class mates act as a good friend, they always try to only to good to all. But in the inner self are they really wanted to be like that? There equation with all changes depending on their need and the person ability. Every week you find the equation changing with all of them. Good thing for me was that I had a solid group from start because we all were from hostel. So I was fortunate but there were people who came in the group and left. I never denied we had a grouping in the class and it was evident in every event.

But still I never hated any one and nor they. It was more like we were not able to get on with each other.
I always believed every individual is different but we have to something in common to be a good friend. But the thing gets difficult for you decide who is right and who is wrong. I have terrible in judging people but still I managed to get it right more often or so. But the matter of face is you wrong decision always haunt you rather than right ones.

In college life I have seen quite things. But those bad memories don’t last long as they never give you anything in life. I never sulked about it and never will just because I never wanted it to be like that. but then again you always expect others also to do the same. Then you learn in life the biggest lesson, if you are good with someone; don’t expect them to be good with you also.

You always end up thinking, why they hate me, why they ditched me or even some time you end up doing some nice analysis. But do we need that? We should be happy in our life or we should be more than unhappy due to some unknown reasons. It was more of memories in life which you can’t change.

Well I am now trying to move out of all those bad memories in my life because now all those memories are dying quite fast. I don’t have any time in life to think about past but yes still I don’t have lots of answer. I wanted them few time back but now I want to let it go.

P.S.: College you might have good time or bad time but one thing you should never change is yourself. In the end this will be the only thing which will be with you always in life.

The Backbenchers: The summer surprise

It was April time in the school. This is generally time for the new secession in the school. Everybody in the school is happy about entering in the new class. We miss some friend who either moved on to the new school or remain in the same class for one more year. We care less for studies and start more enjoying or time in the school as we know that before summer vacation there will not be any exams in the school.

I was always one of the backbenchers student form my school days. I think only when teacher used to get irritated with our activity then only she or he used to shift me from our seats. Well that used to only happen in once is 3 months. Back to original story.

It was before the summer break time in the school so we all were in new class and enjoying it fully. On one such day we had our games class in the 6th period. It was the only class which every student wants to happen daily or many time in a day. But the cruel school people only used to give us 2 or 3 class in a week for games.

We were enjoying our sports class by playing various games in the group. I don’t know why but that day I, vivek and two other students who I can’t remember were back in the class early. I was early because vivek was my seat mate and next period was of math’s his favorite subject. He used to love that class. It was the first time we were studying maths from Chote lal Sir. I heard about him from our seniors and my sister also how strict he is and how he teaches maths and also how strict he was at that time.

So after the bell rang fortunately or unfortunately I was in the class. Only 4 students were in the class. He entered in the class; we greeted him and sat on our seat.  He asked, “Were the other student from your class”.

One of us replied, “Sir it was games class so I think they will be back in the class”. It was not the time of cell phone so we can give a miss call or msg form class so everyone can be back. By the time everyone was back in the class it was about 10 min. late. We were happy that atleast we are saved from the punishment from the Chote Lal Sir. He was ready for his special treatment to student which was very infamous in the school. If you think why his name was Chote Lal? maybe because of his hight. But then also how come their parents know how short he will be.

Suddenly he asked, “Who is the monitor of this class”.

Reluctantly our class monitor Kushvendra came forward. He has been our class monitor for last 3 year and before there was Awdesh. He was one the brightest student in our class and always used to top in our class since last few years. He was one of my close friends at that time.

Chote Lal sir continued, “How can a class be discipline, when his monitor is so indiscipline. How come you can’t come on the time to class. Didn’t you hear the bell of time or you are not interested in the class. This is really a disgusting thing. You don’t deserve to be the class monitor from now onwards. You are not class monitor in my class and even in the other class as well. I will talk to your class teacher as well.”
It stunned us all. How can this happen, he is one of the best monitor in the school and a bright student. Even if we look at the option that else can be made the class monitor. There was no option in my mind at time. I admit secretly I wanted to be the monitor of the class but I knew always that I don’t have the chance of being so because of some reasons.

Chote Lal sir declared that of these four students will be class monitor. Now that was more showing. I don’t want to be monitor and vivek you can’t imagine it. A thin boy, whose voice is not been to even audible to me and here he can be made the class monitor.

Then came the shock, I was made the class monitor. I never expected that in my wildest imagination. It was like getting gold medal without even running in 100 Meter race. I hated that, and my expression said it all. It was dumbstruck, nor happy and not sad. But there was surprise in my mind. Pinch me because this can’t be possible. I can’t be class monitor.

As the Chote Lal sir class was over it was heavy exercise for me. Some of class mate were congratulating me and other were thinking how come he be monitor of the class. He knows nothing about it.
Indeed it was one the best memories of my school day when I was class monitor. I used to have fun, you are free from the punishment zone and from the fear that you might get smacked down, and you get more attention in front of teachers. The best you can make of the school days are those days.

Summer of Broken Dreams: The Art attack (Part 2)

Ting…Ting..Ting..Ting..Ting..Ting..Ting…

“So whose period is this”, I was asking to vivek. He was sitting next to me in the last bench of the 10th class. I was expecting his answer sooner as our social studies teacher left the class. But before he can speak up from his mouth there was shouting from front bench. “It is art class”.

“Shit, don’t tell me that. How come this class comes every day”, I said to vivek. He was looked little bit more worried than me. It was horror look on his face. I could not stop myself from asking, “what happened yaar, why are you so tense”. I could see his nail biting. “I have forgotten my drawing note book in home today”. He replied to me.

Now that was new news for me, Vivek missing his drawing note book. Well let me tell you in my class from about 32 students only 3 boys and all few girls used to bring drawing note book. How can we forget our drawing note book when we have not made the note book for almost 3 years?

We all have been learning same old thing in drawing for last 4 years. In every class we wither make Lotus or some more crappy plant on our note book. Then also you have to make it to perfection otherwise in next class you might end up again making the same old crappy plants again. Majority of class has lost their interest in the drawing classes. While from the last I can see the whole classes busy something or other thing.

“Good Afternoon ma’am”, it was one of the most sung songs by every student in his life. Every day eight time you have to wish your teacher and with same energy. And if you miss it then you might end up saying it thousand times again.

“Sit down, everyone”, it was our drawing teacher voice. But no student was sitting down. Apart from few of us, I was also standing up in the last bench. “I said sit down, everyone”, Ma’am said. This time it was more of a frustrating sound. “Why you all are not sitting can anybody take the pain to explain me?”

So it was time for Mr. Ankit to step in. If you don’t know him let me explain you, He was one of outspoken gyus in the class. He replied, “Actually ma’am we all have not bring our Drawing note book and we all knew you will say to stand up in you class. So that’s why we have decided to just stay in this way, because ultimately we have to stand up in the class”

Well there was not reaction from the ma’am. I think for a movement she was also stunned by the way he has spoken. And the reaction that was followed, it was the most usual rant that we expected in out class.

“You all don’t fear any more teachers.  What you think of yourself, that you are in 10t class so you can do whatever you want”. Personally we all knew in our last year at this school we can do whatever we want in our extra activity. I hated painting and other too, so we dropped it from out plan.

She continued, “I will take you all to principle and make sure you all will not get the admit card”. Now that was the most heard blackmailing you hear in the class 10 and 12. How the hell art is related to our admit card.

She went out of class fuming. Half of the class was stunned and feared for some trouble. We all were trying to see how much there is strength in our group. Nobody backs off that was the main thing.
Then she returned after 5 min. We all were expecting some type of punishment, we might end up in the office of principle I thought. She said, “This is last time I am leaving you all. But you all who have no motive to do art please leaving my class and stand outside. Let your juniors see what you all have done”.

Now in the school group punishment means more fun than the normal one. There is no better punishment then group in school days. At least there are few more friends who are with you in your crime. Those where the days and those were the punishment in the school life.

Today I want to say, I miss drawing class...and what about you...

The best class mates I have had...I can just get and try to recollect all the name as they are...

P.S.: This blog is for all those 2004 batch mates who never used to bring the drawing copy in the class. Either it be saifi (myself), mohit, ankit, sanjay, farhan, vivek, arvind sharma, lawlesh, anandita (she used to bring the drawing notes), reshama(she used to also bring the copy). Well the list is endless and i missed few names here only because I am in hurry to post this blog.

Summer of broken dreams

Somebody was shouting in my ears to get up. “Mamu utho na, please”. It was my niece Mahi, she was getting ready for her school. I was in no mood of getting up so early. Well 7 AM is too early in my dictionary after my school life. Mahi is in the same school in which I did my schooling. So it was all over again visiting those places where my best part of childhood was spent. I decide to drop her in the school.

Well lots of changes have come in the school. It is not the same school in term of structure and also in term of schooling. I could easily recollect the road which I used to travel, the auto, gate, lots and lots of thing which I could not explain here. It took me to memory lane of my school days. My initial years in school life.

It was easy for my family to choose school for me, as my two elder sisters were studying in the same school. I joined the school in the first class. So I never went to use less class called K.G, Nursery and worst prep. I have very few memory left of my first class. Few things I do remember is when we joined our school has only the main building in which all the classes where there. But after few weeks we got our expansion and our first class was divided in two parts, A section and B section. And after that we never saw eye to eye, we were always rivals and still are in terms of classes.

My first ever friend of school life....

In my class few things that clicked with me instantly was I found one friend on my first day of class. His name was Sankalp, Our friendship was simple because her sister and my sister were in same class and they were friend. So it was easy to become friend as we knew lot about each other. We used to sit together in same bench from first class; we used to share lunch box and lots of things. My roll no used to come first and then his, so in exam also we used to sit behind each other. It will be so hard to explain my friendship with him; I could not be done in words. We are still connected but not as great as we used to be, because times we have spend away from each other. He has grown in own man and I am in my own league. But we are still connecter that is important. But right now there are few more important people who come to know me in first class.

The whole Indian Oil group, this was there group name because they used to come from bus which was of Indian Oil. So in our class they were all famous as Indian Oil group. There are very few people who was in the school from the first class they were in the few batch student. Our first Class teacher Mrs. Bhalerao Ma’am, she was the first person who knows how naughty I was in the class and yet I always got saved somehow.

If I could still remember few more things then Awdesh was our first class monitor, he was always class monitor stuff. He used to know what he does. Then there was topper of our class Yogendra, He was more obsessed with topping class every year than anything else. He always came first in initial few years and then we all gave up to come first in the class. We all were fighting to come second in the class.

Talking about Girls, how we can forget about them. There were two best of friends Anandita and Richa. They used to be best of friends. One of best things they did was “Dance”, they used to dance on some song which I could not remember at this time of movement. There was ever laughing Nazmi in the class. If you ever could associate with her, then her laugh was it. She used to start anything with her giggle and also end with the same.

I am missing so many people in this note, brijesh only Indian oil group person who was in our gang, and then there was Lawlesh, Vivek and lots of other. I could not remember all of them at this time. I am still touch with lots of them. I hope this summer is not turning out to be “Summer of broken dreams”…

You were my crush ……till you left the college (Last part)

http://iecmba.blogspot.in/2012/01/you-were-my-crush-till-you-left-college.html first part of this story.

Why you never realize how much you love some one till it is gone. I not the first to say or feel like this, As my crush was coming towards its end.

It was farewell day. The name we gave to it was “Rukhsat”. It means saying good bye to any one in a gross term (I hardly understood that thing) . This was name which was give by dear friend Saifi. He picked that name while he was in his home and we were looking for the name for the farewell of the seniors.  He suggested this name and we all like it instantly. It was name which defined that part of my life. Going away from the thing that you loved the most. I wanted it to last forever but things don’t go as per your plan. Do they?

Well I could not Imagine how would be college like without her presence in it. It was weird thing to Imagine. from last three months we have been best of friends. She was my senior but still our friendship was best thing I could have asked for in my college life. Some says I am apple of her eyes but neither did she cared nor I.  We used to spend hours in the canteen, college grounds and even some time in the market. but for her it was friendship and for me it was more than that. I liked her but I could not tell her. I regret that part few times but then also I was happy to have her as a friend. Today it was all different, she will be leaving the college. I never know that this day will come so soon in my life. I was still in thought of her while standing in front of the college Auditorium where our farewell was going to happen. I have not participated in anything just because it it all really politically related and you need to be so much involved, it is better to avoid it.

I was still lost in my dreams. Some how I never notice what is in front of me. Seniors have started to arrive in the farewell, I was not a bit interested in it. After a long wait I can see her coming from the stairs. She was looking stunning in Sari. That was the dress code for girls. If I could have got chance to make one second to be printed on your mind, for me that was the point. She has not done any makeup but still she was looking so good. In the party I could not get chance to chat with her. She was busy with her classmates and I was with mine. I was all the time looking for her. I was only looking at her. I received a message from her in my phone. “Meet you at tea point after party”.

for me whole party was pointless after that. I left party even before the Mr. fresher and Miss. Fresher event was finished. Tea point was the place where we meet usually in the evening after the college. I reached there and ordered the tea. I picked my phone and dropped her message, “I am at tea point. Plz come fast”. I don’t know what to say to her. good, bad or nothing. In my mind I was just thinking about the same. it was really amazing how time has passed. We used to share maggie, ice cream in the tea point. All the good things comes to end.

“Hi, so why you here outside in the middle of the show” she asked with great smile in her face.

“Well I am here because this is best place to be with you. And also I was not interested in the party, there was all the crap thing going on”. I said while seeing her smiling face. It was just like a fresh air her smile can make you forget any thing.

“Well this is my last day, so today this tea party is from my side”, she said to me while sitting on the bench. I could not make up mind how to react. I was feeling bad now this is going to be worse I thought in my mind.

“Look I want to say something to you”, her voice seems to be in a serious tone and usually this only happen when she want to say something Important. I said, “Go on, I am listening”.

“We are good friends, and today is my last day here. I don’t know after this day we will be able be meet ever or not. I don’t have answers of that question. but few thing I wanted to tell you. I never knew we would become such a good friend over a period of time. You were there for me when I needed you and you helped me a lot in every matter I needed you. sometime more than you can do for me. but this is it, you have to realize it. This is day where all things come to an end. I move on in life and I hope you could also move on. I know what you feel for me, but I can’t do anything about it” I was just feeling strange in my heart. Is this it would be coming to end.

she continued, “look at our first day, I asked you pencil and you didn’t have it with you. but still we became friend. And indeed a best friend but then I could go any further than this. I hope you know that”. I took a deep breath inside. I looked in her eyes, it has still the same glow which was on the first day we met. It was a unusual silence in between us. She broke the silence, “ I have bought you a gift because I knew you would never bring any gift for me”.  She opened her bag and took out a packet from there. “this one is for you and open it right now”.

I opened it and it was a key ring. A key ring on which it was written “I am your crush”. I could not hold my self. I felt like crying, it was getting harder for me. Thanks was the only word I could say. I knew this was the last time we could each other any thing. I hold my voice and said I bought a gift for you. “really I could not believe that, where is my gift” she said in her as usual cheerful tone.

“ I will give you once you will reach in the audi again” I said while seeing her face. I could she her face in the fading light. the sunset point was coming to its end. We completed our tea and she went and I pressed send button from my mobile.

“As I was not able to say things infront of you, I decide to say in this wasy”
why it have to end this way,
we met, became friend and then
we have to leave this way.
why it have to end this way,
I know you never said to be with me forever,
I never wanted to be the special one,
I know it will end in any way,
but why it have end this way,
you were my crush from the first day,
I hope you will remember me always,
I never wanted to say goodbye,
but now it time to say, you were just my crush,
but why it have to end this way”….

I could not stop my self from dialing her number.
"Hello, Can we meet after farewell"..

The 96th Devils…(My version)

After almost 2 years I just wanted to revisit the most important phase of my life. The 96th devil, It was the term which was first used by Jayant, one of the member of this family. He was the one who discovered this name, a name which is still quite close to all of the member of this family.

I was the last person to enter in the 96th devils family. The others were Nisheeth, Jayant and Aman.So if you are curious what is 96 No is related to. 96 number was our flat no. in which we spend our golden time of hostel life. Flat No 96 in a way defined the way we lived our life for next few months. I became the 96th flat no member by chance or say by luck. Only if Amit would not have left for other flat, some body could have arrived earlier than me but that’s how sometime luck is with you. You get the chances and you create your own destiny with it.

96th devil had everything in it. It had drama, emotion and some very heavy action also. For me it started with being roommate of Nisheeth. He was totally opposite of me or what I am, He is organized, he finish his work on time and he spend his time with all calculation. And the scary part was he used to take bath daily at 7 AM, even in chilling winter. He used to act for me as alarm.  He used to finish his assignment on the time and I mostly end up being coping it. Well it is always pain to have a roommate like me. I never wake up on time, always late on the every occasion. Well still he love me I know that. That’s always come naturally to me.

If I found Bade Bhaiya as my room mate than Jayant found a match made in heaven as his room mate. Mr. Aman. Now first time you see him you might be scared but never go by his looks. He has a hearth of gold, oh that was too much of praise but at least he has heart of child. Till the day he was in 96th family we never saw his room locked and Jayant was used to sleep used in half of the bed because in rest of 1 1/2 kapoor sahab used to sleep. And only way Jayant used to kick his A#@ was by studying. He used to study in every corner of the falt. I still remember when Kapoor sahab used to kick him out of his room, he used to study in gallery. Now that was his dedication for study.

In 96th family we all used to take different bus to reach the college. Well from our hostel it was daily 4 buses used to Go. Bade bahiya used to take first bus after that I used to take second one. Just because I could not match his Inhuman effort of waking up so early. And if you are curious which bus Jayant and Aman used to take. In whole hostel life they only took 4th bus that was last bus. even some time they used to miss last bus also.

In that starting period of my hostel life in flat no 96, I never felt alone. Some time I missed my family but they all where there for me. In that flat I learned so many things. I celebrated my first break at Top and the party after that. I never felt like it was hostel except at the of food or on Sunday. On Sunday there used to be huge rush in mess of our hostel because on that Choole Bature used to be served. Well you need to fight for at least half n hour to get in line and by the time you reach in the front either your eating mood would be gone or you would deiced. "Lets eat rice one more day".

Indeed those where best days of my life. I never knew that living in hostel can be so much of fun. I want to write all the memories in series. For today this is a gift for the other three devils in that flat. This 96th devil will always be Jayant creation. Best part is 3 of us me, Nisheeth and Jayant are still together. We have moved on from 96th devil to be more like Corporate devil but yet those memories are still fresh in my mind. As the time move on the memories are fading from my mind.

This is place where 96th Devil used to live...FLAT NO 96...

The Love for Urdu....

In life you face lots of language barrier. Sometime of language you speak, sometime the way you communicate and sometime that way you perceive other person. As a kid you never understand these things.

In my early days when I was about 10 years old, I used to have a tutor for me who used to teach me Urdu, Arabic and Holy Quran. He taught me Urdu basics how to read, how to write this beautiful language. I used to call him Hafiz ji. He was in mid 30’s when he used to teach me. He was a simple man as I used to see him. Hafiz ji used to wear a long white kurta (which usually lots of Maulana wear in the present time) and Lungi. I never seen him in the angry mood, whenever I have seen him he has always a sense of calmness with him. I still admire him a lot.

He used to teach me how to read and write Urdu language, I picked up quite fast as I always loved the language. I still remember lots of Nazam that he taught me at that time. Some of them were of Iqbal “Lab pe aati hai dua ban ke”, “ek parinde ke paigam”. He knew what he was teaching and how much I can take at that age. But at time I never understood these things. I always felt he is too harsh on me to teach me same thing again and again even when I am ready for next level. He knew that learning is one thing but retaining it for long time is difficult.

After 10th Hafiz ji said to me my education for Urdu and Holi Quran is completed. In a way it was end of a cycle in my life. I moved on in my life with more focus towards my education in other fields. I learned more of English but still it could not match my hunger of Urdu language. But my learning of Urdu was never completed. After Graduation I realized, I never completed my education of Urdu language. I know how to read, writes the Urdu but some time I am not able to understand the meaning of words. That is the time when I remember Hafiz ji, he taught one thing that I never forget. He said to me one time, “Saifi , learning is not important. You can learn even at the age of 60 but always improving and retaining what you have learned is more important”.

Now I know why it is important to be a good student to learn. You can be a good learner but if you are not a good student no knowledge will serve you ever. Today I want to learn more of Urdu, Arabic and even some more foreign language but I don’t get the time to learn. Urdu I am still following because I know how to read and I always try to learn it.

P.S. :Imaan mujhe roke hai to kheenche hai mujhe kufr

I love you…like I hate you

This is how one of my close used to describe his feeling. He loves someone because he hates her. Now you must be confused? Either he can love someone or he can hate someone, but how can he do both at the same time. I was also confused about this for a long time, till recently I got some clarity about this and that prompted me to write about this.

Thing happened like this in his life, He used to initially like that girl. Then he started to hate that girl because his friend started to hate her. Then after sometime he realized that he loved her but then how to admit that in front of his friend. So he hates her in front of his friend but inside his heart and when his friends are not near he loved that girl.

Well things seem so simple with a little piece of paragraph, but life is not easy as it seems. Well she tells her friends that he meets her and he denies every week that he meets her. So as a friend we are confused to whom we believe. Either to believe to friend who is more close to me or to the truth which I can see in front of my eye? Well this is really disturbing thing in life when some of your close friend leave you in such a state. I am no saint but believe me I never ditched my friend because I wanted to make someone feel better. Worse you say to that person to not disclose this kind of information. But then also if your friends came to know about that, what will be you credibility? I know people will argue that it is someone personal like and you don’t have any right to ask any question. My argument will be always either make friend from your heart or leave them and don’t feel sh@#t about it. Why carry a dead relation, when you know it is dead.

Well problem is you trying to make one relationship work with lie to others. I know everybody does it but sometime you have to trust other and truthful to other in order other could be with you. I never said it is bad but I think if you lose your friend in life then matter how hard you try you may never get them back until you make new friends. And making friend in any place is more difficult as you grow old.

Some time you try to be over smart in life. You tend to think, how come they will know about it. This is how life works out some time. But making friend is not easy but losing them is quite easy. Well they will realize these things when they will lose something which they are quite sure they can’t lose.
Well in life you hardly make good friend who trust you. But that trust barrier Is broken in any relation it is hard to get it back.
