So what is your future plan?

Well if you go back home after 6 months the most obvious question which is asked by most of your friend and some of your family members, “So, What is your future plan?”.

Now I am usually found this question annoying and at time out of context as well. After I finished my 12th from that time most of the people whom I known used to ask me, what next? And I could only answer like college, study what else. Well after I finished my college again the same question was asked and I again answered MBA, enjoy my life and may be something more adventure. This question was just turning out to be like Royal segram AD, “Have you made it large” and you think when this thing will end.

This time around when I was at home, again everybody was interested in the job I do, life I live and last but least, “So, what is your future plan”. These questions irritated me most rather than missing electricity and my phone in my home. Well if you have just started working and came back to home for a break you will easily find one or two lady from your neighborhood asking your mom about your marriage plan. All you wanted to sound out to them I am not interested for next 5 years and please leave me alone.

Well as I am not a very good planner about my life. Usually I can’t plan how I can spend my weekend leave alone the future and job. Well I guess something is more enjoyed when they are not planned and planning doesn’t suites me. As I know execution part will be always missing from my plan.

The only best thing about these questions comes when you know what you want to say. You know your relative only ask question to tell their children where they are and where we are. They will have a dinner with you and ask thousand question as if you were invited to chat show of “FOOD WITH COUSINS” and if this is not finished they will make you say all those funny line which are not so funny either but yet you have to laugh on it. The most irritating part comes when they all will tell you some story of your ancient days which you have forgotten but they will remember it every single point of it.

As far I am concern I have rehearsed myself well to give all the answers. I think it better to sleep at home and read lots of books with delicious food rather than wasting your time with answering these irritating questions.

P.S.: Well even if you like it or not these question will never leave you till your retirement. And for marriage question please never smile in front of any aunty otherwise your bachelorhood will be doomed very soon If your mom start hearing that aunty.

Mission Admission ...the battle for Child admission.

Well last week I was discussing with my sister the hardest thing she faced her in life in last few years. Her answer was straight to me, “You know it may sound easy to you but getting admission to Mahi to good school is the biggest battle I am facing right now”. I expected that answer but never thought how our education system has changed and it has become much more difficult to get admission in good college.

So the mission Admission starts from January. All the good school either of CBSE and ICES has their own criteria of admission. Some take test of student and some even of the parents. My sister applied for few of the best school my sweet angel. She has almost trained her for 1 year for the interview and test by teaching him home.

My sister wanted to apply for Mahi admission in one of the reputed ICSE School in our city but the problem was getting the admission form of that school. So we have to track lots of sources who have access of that and even the person who can provide details about that. So that school form cost around 1000 bucks and yet you are not sure wheatear your child will get admission.
They have strange admission criteria like father and mother should be well educated, they should have an X amount of salary and the best one they can speak English. Can anybody tell me how that can be main criteria for the child admission.

Nobody ask about how good child is and how talented he or she is. It makes you clueless how to overcome these problems. Well in the end you realize it harder to get admission for child in school then them to IIT or IIM because there their fate will be in hand in but now there fate is in the hand of their respective mother and father even before they have started education.

After trying for too many schools, there was one school which my sister was able to get to admission. Well here also the most important part was the Interview of parent not the child. She told while answering the question she felt like it was her admission test not Mahi. Not a single question was asked for her but all the question was asked to my Sister. The question where do you know English, from where you have done your education, you are science student or arts. Well she can’t get admission of mahi here also due to donation price was way too much.

Well after few tries she finally managed to get her admission in the same school from where we all have done our schooling. Well it’s strange that today admission process has nothing to do with the child age, her ability and her desire but only on parents and the amount they can pay to school.

In the end my sister took the best decision even though I was not part of it and I was the one who opposed it. She decided to give Mahi one year of more freedom. No schooling this year maybe that was the best outcome of it. Next year she has to again go through the same things, same school, admission process and admission form and whole lots of interview.

P.S.: Better be prepared for admission marathon of the school. Read not for your career but for your children.

The Magic Number (Part 2)....

Awaiting........processing.......and the result was out in front of  me.

I cleared all the objective paper but missed the DP i.e. descriptive. Well that to by one marks.

If you can see the result I think even you can have a heart attach after this kind of result. Just few hours back I was having a laugh on my friend while she missed her objective exam by 1 number but now the biggest victim of all time. I missed subjective qualification of say passing IBPS exam by 1 number now that's call "Cruelness by examiner". He or she could have given one number but as thing stands I was on the unqualified students.

Well the positive was I cleared the objective paper but the hardest part is to except this miss. Last night I was explaining my friend about the pain of getting out on 99 runs. It was hard to digest but still I have to do it. Now all the fun part was gone from my jokes. Even my best jokes lost there magical touch but pain of 1 number can be seen.

Well out of all bad thing you always find some positive. I find out importance of single number in your life. Sometime difference between wining and losing is not all but just one number. But still I am happy that i missed it ("dil ko kush karne ko ye kahayal "saifi" acha hai") now at least no more bank exams for me. Well above of my all only my mom was happy that now I can qualify for the "Sarakari Job" which she dreams for me. And raj, Jayant and Varun found new subject for the jokes at least for next few days.

Well my friend who missed subjective exam by one marks has decided she will give me party because of my biggest looser tag. I think if ever that tag can fit on any situation that was this. Raj gave the best opinion that this result is only to make student aware that they are in race so they can try out next time just like MAT or CAT. I don't know about that part but still I think this will take time to heal at least till my friend gives me part in Pizza Hut.

P.S.: Never think what one marks or one small thing can do in your life. Because some time one small thing can make all the big changes in life.
